This quartz cuckoo clock is made by Trenkle Uhren in Simonswald, in the Black Forest of Germany. Five hand carved leaves and three carved birds frame the dial in the classic Black Forest style. Every hour the cuckoo calls over the sound of a babbling brook and one of 12 melodies plays, and a light sensor quiets the clock when the room goes dark.
